WOW...It's August already !!! Where has Summer gone ???
I can't believe we haven't posted anything since the beginning of June.
We've been busy...
Spring, Summer, & Fall are the perfect seasons to do what we love to do best...Shop Yard Sales. So far, this Summer, the weather has been perfect. Hot & Sunny The only thing is... we had a trip planned that took up most of July. So, we had little time to yard sale.
Instead, we went on a trip of a lifetime... a Mediterranean Cruise. Lots of touring & walking. A bit exhausting...but, oh so beautiful & well worth the effort.
We flew into Italy a few days early. We toured Pisa &, of course, did the touristy photo - holding up the tower.

Then, off to Florence...to see "The David". There are two Davids in Florence & we nicknamed the one in the square "The Dirty David" (due to being outdoors & subject to the elements). ;)

Then to Sienna...to tour a medieval town...

What a traffic jam ??? Oh no it's Ozzie & Sharon...causing quite a stir...
OK...Are you exhausted yet? Well, you can imagine how we felt, when we finally arrived in Venice in the 104 degree heat & jet lagged to boot...

Finally...we board the ship.
We have one day at sea & our first port of call...Athens's Greece...viewing the ruins.

The next day off to Kusadasi & Ephesus, Turkey for a visit to the Virgin Mary's final home.

The next day we visited Mykonos, Greece.

Next on tour...the Blue Mosque - Istanbul, Turkey...(picture taken from a postcard...it was raining the day we were in there).

After walking uphill & in the rain all day...Lorraine needed to cure her headache at the wish wall...
